Home Heating Oil 20% Up

Home Heating Oil has increased by 20% or more over the last few weeks according to the weekend press. Wow, that hurts.
Here at Trafford fireplaces, we deal with a lot of people who have to use Oil or LPG to heat their homes as they do not have access to mains gas.
The only alternative heat for these people is multi-fuel or wood-burning stoves. Oil is not going to get cheaper in the long term and if you have access to the wood a wood-burning stove could be your answer. A stove will never replace your heating system but stoves can provide the core of the heat for your home, leaving the central heating for getting you out of bed and at the end of the day for baths etc. For overnight burning, a multifuel stove is best as wood is hard to keep in overnight.
How much would all this cost? Usually, less than one tank of oil.
