Most modern-day Electric Fires have real Coal on them and over a period of time, they tend to get a bit dull and dusty. Just
remove all the coals and put them in a bucket of water. Add a dash of washing up liquid and agitate vigorously. Rinse and remove the coals by hand so you leave all the tiny stuff behind. Put on an old newspaper to dry. Replace the coals on your Electric Fire and you will be amazed how they sparkle.
