I shopped around and thought Trafford Fireplaces would be the best. The showroom is good and friendly. Graeme was very helpful. I bought the Gazco Riva 2 Gas Fire. The fitters Tony and Alan were very good but there was a lot of dust as they had a lot of building work to do. I think I will recommend Trafford fireplaces.

I have seen your shop many times. We had our last fire fitted by a penrith supplier, but I was unhappy with their service after sales. I didn’t come into your showroom. I just called and you came to us. Peter was very helpful and straightforward. He explained the products to us. We decided to buy a Gazco Huntingdon 30 Balanced Flue Log Gas Stove with an up and out flue. The fitters Tony and Alan were very good, very friendly and efficient. We would certainly use them again. We are very pleased and will recommend you highly.

I came to you on the recommendation of my brother. The showroom has a good range of stoves and prices. There was prompt service and a quote. Graeme was very clear on the pros and cons of models. I chose the Villager Esprit Multi fuel Stove. The fitters David and his team were hard working and left everything tidy and clean.

I found the shop online and it looked like you had a good range. The showroom does have a good range of fires and surrounds. The shop staff were very helpful and gave lots of good advice. I bought a Limestone Mantel with Slabbed Granite Back & hearth. The fire was the Stovax Riva 40 Multi-Fuel Cassette with a metal frame. The fitters Tony and Allan were very good, there was a small problem but Tony has been back to fix it. We are pleased we came to you and happy to recommend you.

We saw Trafford Fireplaces while we were waiting at the traffic lights near your shop and as you were the only firm that could fulfill our requirements we came to your shop to purchase.
You didn’t have our chosen fire on display but we appreciate the difficulties in displaying so many. We purchased a Gazco Logic HE gas fire and surround with the help of Brenda.
Jamie the fitter did a first rate job fitting the fireplace and we are pleased that we came to Trafford Fireplaces.

I went to another place first, but I bought from you because I felt you were cheaper and more helpful. The showroom was very well set up and there were lots of different styles to see. Graeme was very helpful. I didn’t know what I wanted and he talked me through different options with clarity. I bought a 3 button Nu Flame convector gas fire and a Dublin Corbel natural oak mantle. Paul fitted it and he was excellent. I had problems with some damp and he explained he wasn’t too sure about fitting it and got some advice before fitting it instead of just going ahead and something going wrong. I am pleased with every aspect.

The shop had a comprehensive selection of fires and fireplaces and Stuart was friendly and very helpful. We chose a remote control Nu Flame gas fire and Jamie fitted it. We found you through yellow pages and the Internet. The showroom was welcoming, well laid out and easy to get around. The staff were interested in what they were selling. Graeme was very helpful. We bought a new solid oak mantel with black granite back and hearth for coal. The fitter Paul seemed fine. I left him to it while I went to work. We are pleased we went to Trafford Fireplaces.The coal fireplace has a magnetic frame which I am not sure about. We have not had our fire on yet, but everything looks smart, thank you.
We had checked out a couple of other places in Carlisle and one was physically cold. The sales person would not answer some of our queries. The other shop took our information but to date has never rung us back and my husband offered to put a deposit down. Our feeling was that they didn’t want our custom. Trafford Fireplaces were on the ball and got a surveyor to us quickly and the installation was done without to much delay.
